Bruce M. Thompson,M.D.

Pediatrician

A 1978 graduate of LSU School of Medicine, Dr. Thompson completed his Residency at Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia in Richmond in 1981.

Board Certified in Pediatrics, he has been with the Children's Clinic since 1981. 

He and his wife, Cathy, have eleven children and four grandchildren. They are active members of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church where Dr. Thompson serves as a Trustee of the Parish, a member of the Pastoral Council, Villa Maria Retirement Center Board, OLQH parish financial committee, and OLQH School trust committee.  He is a member of  the St. Louis Foundation Board and serves as Chairman of the Diocese of Lake Charles School Board.

His interests include keeping up with his children and their activities, gardening and running.
