Jamal G. Saqer, M.D.
Pediatric Critical Care
Dr. Saqer received his Medical Degree from Garyonis
University, Alarab Medical School in Beghazi, Libya in 1983. His Pediatric Residency
was at Bowman Gray School of Medicine - Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC in
1993. He also completed a Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship at the University of
Florida, College of Medicine in Gainesville, FL in 1996. Dr. Saqer is board
certified in Pediatrics and is a Pediatric Critical Care
Specialist.
Medical Director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital,
Dr. Saqer has two publications in Respiratory Physiology, in particular, Pulmonary
Function, Respiratory Mechanics and Mechanical Ventilation.
He joined the Clinic in November 1999 and he and his wife,
Lamis, have three children.
