Take Action for Child Health Day October 6
October 6, 2008 is the 80th anniversary of Child Health Day. This day is dedicated to raising awareness about childhood health and working to improve it. The theme for Child Health Day 2008 is “Eat Healthy and Be Active for a Healthy Future."

Children's Clinic welcomes new pediatrician
Dr. Elizabeth Murray, board certified pediatrician, joined the staff of the Children's Clinic July, 2008. She will see patients three days a week. Call the appointment desk to schedule an appointment.

Protect your child against the flu.
The CDC now recommends that all children from age 6 months to 18 years receive the flu vaccine.
The Flumist (intranasal spray) is available now at the Children's Clinic to protect children and adolescents age 2 years and up. The flu vaccine (injection) will be available at the end of September.
